Monday 10-5-10: injection but no prescription

After supervising the Old Man’s morning medication, I reminded him that the District Nurse was due to call. He was disconcerted by the prospect of another injection. I also told him that his new prescription might be delivered sometime that day.
A new variant: “impersible aspirin”.
In the evening, he told me that the District Nurse had called, but that his prescription had not been delivered.
The evening medication session was difficult. Repeatedly I told the Old Man to mute the TV sound, but he did not, and variously claimed either that he had done it or that he could not do it. By the end of the session, he still had not fully muted the sound.
