Thursday 15-12-11: snow, lights, cards

A little snow fell in Peakville overnight. When I looked out of my bedroom window at about 05:40, I could not see any lights on in any of the houses. Perhaps people had seen the snow and had decided to go back to bed. There was one light on, an exterior light at the back of a house in Cypress Avenue (i.e. two streets away).
At about 07:40 I saw a car reversing out of the driveway of the house next to the school-house — the house with the Christmas lights in the windows. (The Christmas lights weren’t on.)
In the afternoon I went shopping at TeraGroce, delivering Christmas cards on the way there and back. The house where Mrs AD’s mother lived is still for sale.
