The school-run that never was

Wednesday 27 June 2012

At 11:02 the silver Escargot is still where it was at 08:22.

By 11:19 no cars have arrived for the school-run. I gain confidence in my conjecture that a teacher is off sick.
There is only one football on the roof of the garage that belongs to the Junior Golfer’s family.
A couple of minutes before 11:30, a man aged 60+ wearing a yellow-green sleeveless top is pushing a push-chair along the far pavement in the direction of the school. In the push-chair is a tiny girl who is leaning forward slightly.
Several minutes later a parent (a man?) and a small boy, holding hands, cross the road towards the school. They are well downhill of the upper entrance to the school.
